Advent board is perfect to attach to the wall or leaned up against a wall, with box of trinkets nearby to look "as if" counting down to Christmas, or laid on a table, so that trinkets can be placed on squares. Gluing trinkets on board is NOT recommended as glue can potentially damage Advent calendar upon removal. Stockings are cut-outs, they do not open and will not hold any items inside.
